Nominated as the president of Indian Dental Technologists Association (IDTA) by the Asian pacific region Dental Technologists Association in Tokyo, Japan. Also an Energy body therapy practitioner, he attained training from health practitioners like Dr. Jon Yeo & Dr. Stanely Goh of Qi – energy international private ltd, Singapore. He is an appointed State president of the Nationalist Youth congress.

Under the able guidance of multifaceted personality Mr. Dheeraj Shetty, Surana has diversified into various activities such as Trading of Dental Equipments & Materials, Manufacturing of Dental waxes , Candles and Chemicals, Consultancy of ISO Certification, Trade Mark, Copy Right & Patent Registration, Anti Ageing Cosmetic Product, Nutrition Products and Nano Technology Based Products.
